Lexi Capital, LLC is an investment company offering gold and silver investments through a GOLD self-directed individual retirement account (IRA). 

So, this company was founded on 2010 through some entrepreneurs who grew tired of seeing retirees suffer at the hands of fluctuating markets, politicians focused on profit and unscrupulous bankers seemingly immune from the law.

Open or Convert an IRA

So, there are three steps into opening your self-directed IRA with Lexi Capital:

1. New or Transfer - You can either open a new self-directed IRA or transfer another retirement account. So if you prefer to keep your traditional retirement account or have no account, opening a new IRA is simple. 
2. Gather Documents - To open a new gold and silver IRA, you’ll need your social security number and personal information. However for transferring, make sure to gather your recent retirement account statements as well.
3. Professional portfolio analysis - Contact Lexi Capital and an adviser will help you understand how gold and silver can hedge against inflation and the instability of traditional financial markets.

After that, you can then start buying precious metals bullion for your account. However, Lexi Capital does not disclose what kind of bullions they offer. So, this can be quite a red flag for other people since it is nice to be able to choose and know what kind of products you are going to get. Plus, they also have a minimum investment requirement of $1,500. Furthermore, if your initial investment is at least $15,000 then they wouldn't charge you with new account fees.

The Gold Assurance Plan

So, what makes Lexi Capital different?

Apparently, they offer The Gold Assurance Plan. So with this plan, eligible gold coins are protected for six months at up to $500 per ounce.

Furthermore, they will also fully explain and give you the option of holding your precious metals privately or keeping them in a depository.

More so, this is a six-month repricing policy that empowers your investment by helping to mitigate the effect of short term corrections.

Your portfolio’s eligibility is communicated during purchase. Additionally, bullion products are eligible for an extra fee.

Depository and/or Private Storage

• Personal Storage IRA/Private Storage IRA

You have the option of privately holding the precious metals you’re investing in, a level of control unheard of in most retirement accounts.

Plus, you’ll receive full-service assistance from our advisers so that you clearly understand how the process works.

• Self-Directed IRA (Private Depository Stored)

For those who want professional storage of their gold and other precious metals, Lexi Capital provides secure storage with their partner STRATA Trust in an IRS approved Delaware Depository.

So, you’ll receive all of the benefits of gold and silver investment without having to worry about physically safeguarding your assets yourself.

Additionally, you can also choose how your precious metals is stored. So, there are two ways your precious metals:

• Commingled Storage: This means that your assets is stored with other peoples assets. So, the coin that you deposited might not be the same coin you will receive when you withdraw it. However, it will still be the same type that will be sent to you.
• Segregated Storage: In a segregated storage your precious metals is stored separately from other customers. So unlike commingled storage, you will get the exact coin that you deposited. However, a segregated storage is more expensive than a commingled one.

There are very limited reviews for Lexi Capital, here's all of it:

At first glance, these ratings might look really good. However when you look into it, there is not a lot of reviews and ratings from actual customers. So, I would take these ratings with a grain of salt.

What I Like About Lexi Capital

They Allow Cancelling Orders

Since we really can't avoid the inevitable, Lexi Capital realizes rare situations happen where orders need to be cancelled. 

So, if you want to cancel orders, you must do so during normal business hours of 9:00 – 5:30 EST Monday – Friday.

Plus, all cancellations are subject to our market loss policy plus a $45.00 (USD) cancellation fee. 

You can refund, return and/or exchange items

Lexi Capital offers their customers with a refund, return and/or exchange policy on everything they sell including all bullion and certified coins.

However, this right is limited to three (3) days from the date on which the customer receives their items.

Furthermore, the refund, return and/or exchange policy only applies to customers who notify their Customer Service Department by telephone within three (3) days from the date on which the customer receives their item and keeps the item in its original packaging.

Offers Discount

Additionally, they provide a 3% cash discount off their list/retail price to their customers if they pay for their orders by check, cashier’s check, bank wire, cash or trade. So, the prices quoted for each product they sell include the 3% cash discount unless you choose to pay by credit card.

What I Don't Like About Lexi Capital

They Implement a 'MINIMUM ORDER' Policy

Lexi Capital's minimum US order is $1500.00 (USD) per transaction, regardless of the payment method.

So, if you're planning to invest with less than that amount, Lexi Capital's not the one for you.

No Info on What Bullion They Offer

Lexi Capital does not have any catalogue of what they offer in their website. So, no coins, bars, etc. or even just a list of what they offer.

Limited Information on their Website

If you want to know what Lexi Capital is, their website will not answer all the questions you have.

Well, I think if you want to attract customers into investing in what you do, then you should give them all the information they need.

Is Lexi Capital a SCAM?

To summarize this Lexi Capital review, there are very limited reviews for Lexi Capital.

So, I don't recommend it very much.

Furthermore, investing $1,500 without much information on the company is very risky and can be bad for your retirement.

So, the best way to make investing work is to find a reliable and trusted company.
