Bullion

Gold

Gold has been used by people for thousands of years as a way to live, spend, trade, and do business. Gold was once called the "hobby of kings," and it helped great civilizations like the Egyptians survive.

IRA Services

IRAs are available to customers through GoldenEagleCoin.com. They  are eligible for individual retirement accounts and meet all of their prerequisites.

Because the most majority of their IRA accounts are self-directed, you will have full command over your IRA investments. The following steps need to be taken in order to open a Gold IRA account:

1. Inform the custodian of your individual retirement account that you wish to add Golden Eagle Coins.

2. Please ensure that the application form is filled out completely and correctly, including all of the needed information. After that, you are free to incorporate the precious metals.

3. Invest your assets in the various opportunities available. Also, check to be that your contributions to your IRA do not exceed the annual maximum allowed by the IRS.

4. If you wish to sell your gold, silver, or platinum, the only person you need to speak to is the custodian of your individual retirement account (IRA).

In addition, if you already have an IRA account, you always have the option of rolling it over into another type of retirement plan.

IRA Charges

The IRS will accept Golden Eagle coins for individual tax returns in amounts as low as $5,000. For each additional exchange, the sum must be greater than $1,000.

You'll incur additional fees with these accounts for things like:

  • Commission fees
  • Administration fees
  • Transaction fees
  • Storage fees

Order Processing Time

When you make an order, it usually takes around six to eight days before they can ship it out, once they've got the funds all sorted. Sometimes, when things get super busy, like during peak times, it might take about 9 to 15 business days for shipping. Now, if your order is a bit complex, like having a bunch of coins or a complete set that needs careful assembling, it might take a bit longer.

To speed things up, make sure to give them the same cardholder name, billing address, and phone number as they appear in your card account.

Shipping and Fees

All their shipments are sent using USPS-insured mail. So don't worry, your package is fully insured for whatever you've ordered. If your order is below $110, They'll send it using First Class Mail. For orders between $110 and $1,900, it's Priority Mail. And if you've splurged over $1,900, They'll go with Registered Mail.

As soon as they send your order, they shoot you a message with your USPS tracking number. Plus, you can also track your order on our website's order status page.

Just remember, any packages sent through USPS First Class, Priority, Express, or Registered Mail are insured for the full value. And if your package is a bit heavy or on the larger side, they'll ship it through FedEx Ground.

Oh, and please make sure there's someone to sign for the package. USPS tries three times to deliver, and if they can't, they'll send it back to them.

The shipping fees depend on how much your order is worth:

  • USPS Standard: If your order is over $100, it's on the house. Otherwise, it's $10.
  • USPS Priority: Flat $15.
  • USPS Express: It's $25, but it's not available if you're paying with a credit card or Paypal.

Just so you know, the shipping cost doesn't cover the processing fees for bullion purchases, and these fees aren't refundable.

What I Like About GEC

  • Wide selection of products

Golden Eagle Coins has a lot of products! They are also always expanding their inventory since they put in new products every 14 days!

  • Golden Eagle Coins put items on sale

They update their ON SALE section every week and sell different coins and billions in discounted or lesser prices.

  • No minimum orders and no commission fees

If you are paying using a check (personal/bank), money order, credit card, PayPal, and cash, they do not require you to have a certain minimum order.

The company also does not charge commission fees. Their prices are displayed using cash discounted prices as well as separate pricing for Credit Card and Paypal orders.

If you elect to pay by Credit Card or Paypal you will notice the price of your items will be 4% more than if taking advantage of the cash-discounted option of using a Check, Cash, Bank Wire, or Money Order.

  • Free and cheap shipping charges

If your order is over $99, you get free shipping through USPS standards. If not, $9.95 for orders under $99.

On the other hand, $14.95 for USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Express Mail costs $24.95, and it is not available for credit card or Paypal orders.

What I Don't Like About GEC

  • Short operating hours

Apparently, Golden Eagle Coins only have Monday-Friday 10 AM-5 PM EST as their customer service via phone operating days and hours.

That's incredibly a lot shorter than the other dealers of bullions or precious metals.

Aside from this, you can only visit their retail showroom by appointment. They are also open for limited hours:

  1. Sunday & Monday = Closed
  2. Tuesday to Friday = 10 am to 5 pm only
  3. Saturday= 10 am to 3pm only
  • A lot of negative reviews

If you'll go and search for reviews of Golden Eagle Coins, they have a lot of negative reviews, complaints, and low ratings.

They are also not verified by many websites and trusted pages.

  • Long processing time of orders/ transactions

Golden Eagle Coins, on normal days, takes 5-7 days of processing once you have paid them. Aside from this, there is an additional 10 days for shipping!

I think they should work on their manpower or the number of their employees to be able to have faster processing time.

Also, when you sell items to them, they usually pay you 3-5 business days via First Class Mail once they have received your package.

  • Strict returns and cancellations policy

Golden Eagle Coins requires you to pay a $35.00 cancellation fee and you'll be subject to their market loss policy.

On the other hand, you must return orders within 7 days after the receipt date. A standard 5% restocking fee is applied to all returned credit card orders.

Is Golden Eagle Coins A Fraud?

In this Golden Eagle Coins Review, our verdict will be... IT IS NOT A FRAUD OR SCAM.

This is because the company has been there for many decades and has proven that they are a legit company.

However, there are plenty of negative reviews that you will see on the internet about this company.

So, I am not recommending it.

This is your choice after all. But in this Golden Eagle Coins Review, I do not recommend this company.

I think they should develop or improve their shipping and their customer services.

But, if you're in it for their wide selection of products and cheap price, go ahead!

Final Thoughts

Gold and precious metals are good investment, they will keep the value of your money intact and even save it during economic downturns.

However, you should always keep in mind that when you invest, there are risks, and these are inevitable.

So, what better way is it to invest than in those trusted and reputable gold and precious metals companies?

I certainly would recommend GOLDCO

Goldco is at the top of the industry! Their superb services and the security that they provide with your investments are remarkable! In fact, they provide a free IRA guide for everyone! This just shows how much they care for you. Click the button for the guide!
