Lear Capital, Inc. is a company that sells and purchases precious metals.

They sell gold, silver, platinum, and palladium coins for individual collection, holding, and placement in self-directed individual retirement accounts, or commonly known as Gold IRA.

Lear Capital promise that your long-term financial security is their main concern.

They find themselves as America’s Precious Metals leader since 1997, and they strive to not only earn your business but to maintain it with superior service.

The company can help you diversify your portfolio by purchasing bullion, acquiring premium rare coins, or adding physical gold and silver to your existing IRA account.

Lear Capital Products & Services!

Gold

These are troubled times and gold has historically been the ultimate hedge against economic volatility and crisis.

IRA accounts are traditionally dependent upon a select group of stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds which are inextricably linked to the economy.

Lear Capital Review

$10 Liberty Gold Coin (Circulated)

The $10 Liberty gold coin, also called the Coronet, was first minted in 1838, which made it the first $10 gold coin to be minted in over 34 years.

The beautiful design of the coin, created by Christian Gobrecht, was so admired that it would later be used on the $2.50 and the $5 Liberty gold coins.

$20 Gold Liberty Coin

The $20 Gold Liberty holds the highest Gold content of any regular issue U.S. Gold coin of its time and the original Liberty design was minted for more than 50 years.

Silver

1980 marked a time of high inflation, market volatility, and heightened economic uncertainty. It also marked the time when one ounce of silver reached a staggering price of $54 an ounce.

More so, today’s market and economic conditions strongly parallel the times leading up to peak precious metals prices in 1980.

American Eagle Silver Coin Value

From Wall Street to Main Street, Silver American Eagles have become a key addition to portfolios large and small.

So much so that the Silver Eagle has become the best-selling silver coin in the world.

Also, minted for the first time in 1986 more than 130 million American Eagle coins have been sold worldwide.

Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coin

This coin contains a certified silver purity of .9999 by The Royal Canadian Mint, making these coins the highest purity silver coin struck by a government mint.

More so, this Canadian coin, the Silver Maple Leaf was first minted in 1988 and is now held in the same highest esteem as its Gold Maple Leaf counterpart.

Lear Capital has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and a AAA rating with the Business Consumer Alliance.

They are also a PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) Authorized Dealer giving their customers the benefit of coin Grading Accuracy and Authenticity.

More so, the company also abides by the NGC’s (Premium Guaranty Corporation) coin grading Standard of Integrity, and they support the ICTA (Industry Council for Tangible Assets) on issues of taxation, IRS regulations, and legislation that impacts all tangible assets.

What I Like About Lear Capital

#1 Safe Storage or Depository

Lear Capital ships (insured) all metals directly to the Delaware Depository IRS-approved depository vault.

The Delaware Depository has been the industry-leading IRS-approved depository for the safeguarding of precious metals since 1999.

DDSC backs its storage services with an impressive, comprehensive insurance policy, underwritten by Lloyds of London, one of the world’s oldest insurance providers.

The Delaware Depository’s state-of-the-art facility is the ideal solution for safe, secure, private storage of your precious metals.

#2 Fast Processing

It takes about 1 business day to open your new Precious Metals IRA and to receive your new IRA account number.

The time it takes to transfer funds from one retirement account to another varies, depending on your current IRA custodian. On average, funds can be transferred within 5 business days.

What I HATE About Lear Capital

What I Don't Like About Lear Capital

#1Fees

There is only one annual payment of $160 for a Precious Metals IRA. This includes the payment for storage, the cost of insurance to protect your metals, quarterly financial statements, and 24/7 access to view your account online.

#2 Doesn’t Buy Back Coins

If at any point the consumer would like to sell back their coins, Lear Capital cannot guarantee they will buy back the coins.

Also, if Lear Capital were to make an offer to buy back the coins, they can offer to buy back the coins at the market price at the time of the buyback.

#3 A Lot of Complaints

Lear Capital has a lot of complaints on different credible review websites.

However, they do their fair share of solving them.

So, it will be resolved eventually.

Is Lear Capital a SCAM?

Lear Capital has been in the industry for decades. They are performing well in terms of dealing with precious metals and helping people with their investments.

Thus, THEY ARE NOT A SCAM.

However, my advice for them is to be transparent with all their fees.

Put a team that focuses on resolving issues (before people will post it on websites like BBB).
