Reviews and Ratings of Jefferson Coins
What I LIKE About Jefferson Coins
- They have been in the industry for a long time
Jefferson Coin was founded in 1962, they have half a century of experience in buying and selling gold and precious metals. Thus, you’ll have no worries about how knowledgeable and experience they are in the industry.
- Easy to Order
With Jefferson Coin, you can call to order or simply add to the cart your orders. They offer an e-commerce site wherein you can directly place your orders by creating an account on their website.
- Transparent with Prices
More so, Jefferson Coin is transparent with their prices, they post how much an item cost, how much its shipping fee costs, and other important cost and fees that you have to pay.
What I HATE About Jefferson Coins
- Cancellation Fees
The company charges you an amount of $50 cancellation fee. Your bullion orders are also subjected to any market loss. On the other hand, market gain remains the property of JCSGold.
- Not indicating if coins or bullions are IRA-eligible
Jefferson Coins did not indicate in the description of their products if they are IRA-eligible. Also, they do not mention anything about IRAs. So, I think, Jefferson Coins does not focus on selling coins and billions for IRAs.
- Not BBB Accredited or Rated
This company is not BBB reviewed, accredited, or rated. I think they should get themselves accredited so that more people will trust their company’s reputation.

Is Jefferson Coins a Scam?
Upon reading and reviewing them, I think Jefferson Coins is NOT A SCAM.
They have a well-trusted reputation in the industry because of their half a century of experience.
Aside from this, they keep up with the trend through implementing an e-commerce site, so, that’s a plus.
However, I do not see anything about IRAs on their website. I think their buying and selling of gold and precious metals are not inclined in the market of people looking for an IRA for their investment portfolio.
Jefferson Coins is a good company. They have plenty of positive reviews and can be trusted by many.
But, if you are looking for something to help you with your dream of having gold and precious metals IRA, I would highly recommend GOLDCO.
Goldco is a company that you can trust and puts effort into their customer service as well as the knowledge that they provide to their clients. They prioritize having smart and well-informed clients that will invest in gold and precious metals.
