What is Gramercy Gold?

Gramercy Gold Review Homepage

Gramercy Gold started as a gold dealer in Gramercy, Manhattan. It is a family-owned business specializing in selling and collecting gold, and assisting clients with financial planning.

Now, they are a national seller of gold and silver. As they are now on the cutting edge of alternative investing by offering Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other Altcoins for your IRA, and outside of it.

The company is a multi-generation gold dealer with decades of experience.

More so, at Gramercy Gold, they work with all types of clients. They know that not everyone is the same, but the commonality among everyone they work with is that they can benefit in some way from owning cryptocurrency, gold, or other precious metals.

Products and Services

Here are some of the products and services of Gramercy Gold:

Bitcoin IRA

A bitcoin IRA is easy to set up, and you can put in an unlimited amount of money without tax implications as long as it is coming from an existing retirement account.

Bitcoin returned over 1,000% in 2017, the likes of which are unprecedented for a stock market index like the S&P 500, or a portfolio of stocks and bonds.

As a result, people who are trying to make more money are moving into virtual currency every day, and getting handsomely rewarded.

As long as it is allowed by your plan, you can roll the money over from any retirement account without incurring any taxes. Money doesn’t necessarily need to come from an existing IRA account, but it can.

Steps in getting a Bitcoin IRA

  1. Fill out the account application paperwork.
  2. Rollover money from your existing retirement account.
  3. Make your bitcoin purchase.

Gold IRA

An IRA is a common abbreviation for a qualified retirement account known formally as an Individual Retirement Account. An IRA is a savings account (usually an investment account) designed to be used for retirement.

A gold IRA functions like any other IRA, except for what it holds as an investment. A gold IRA invests in the hard asset of gold. Not a gold fund, or a gold derivative, but actual physical gold.

More so, just like with any IRA account, any contribution (up to the legal limits) to a Gold IRA account is tax-deductible.

There is no limit to the amount of growth allowed, and any growth is completely tax-deferred until the money is taken out of the account. This makes saving money to a Gold IRA a tax-advantaged savings method when compared to a non-qualified account.

So, you can try to contact them if you want to invest in Gold IRA.

Precious Metals

Gold Bars

10 oz. Gold Bar
Gramercy Gold Review

One-ounce gold bars are a favorite among gold investors the world over. Gold trades in denominations of 1 ounce, so the value is well understood and well recognized among people everywhere of every country and nationality.

Ten-ounce gold bars are significantly more valuable than one-ounce gold bars (ten times as valuable to be exact) but they still are very compact. One-gram gold bars are small but very useful.

One gram is equivalent to 0.0321507 troy ounces. About the size of a microchip, this bar is extremely useful as a medium of exchange.

Gold Coins

The Gold American Buffalo coin is the first (.9999) 24-karat gold coin produced by the US Mint for the public.

The Britannia Coin of .9999 fine Gold is a must-have for anyone. The Gold Bullion Britannia Coin is available in sizes from one-tenth of a troy ounce to five-ounce.

The Gold Chinese Panda coin has a Panda struck on one side and the Temple of Heaven on the other. Pandas have been a symbol of peace and humbleness due to their usually docile behavior and have distinguished the Gold Chinese Panda coin from other countries' designs.

Silver Bars and Coins

10-ounce silver bars are minted in the United States and all over the world. 10-ounce silver bars offer an ideal investment advantage due to the low premium over spot silver.

Silver Australian Koala coins have the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Ian Rank-Broadley is one of the foremost sculptors working today.

Silver bullion coins such as the Silver American Eagle which the U.S. government first introduced in 1986 have fast become one of the most popular ways to invest in silver bullion.

A gold kit will describe why investors are flocking to gold, what options are available for you to invest in real physical gold, and how we deliver the gold to your door safely and securely.

How to Purchase Precious Metals?

Gramercy has a website where you can browse all precious metals that they are offering. However, this does not serve as an e-commerce website. Furthermore, they also do not indicate the price of their products in their website. So in order to buy any of their products, you would need to contact them or fill out a form in their website. Your products will be then drop shipped on your address. However, there is no info on whether they offer free shipping or if your purchase is insured or not.

Review and Ratings of Gramercy Gold

No Reviews

Unfortunately, Gramercy Gold does not have any reviews online from customers which is really weird for a company like them. Customer review sites like Trustpilot or the Better Business Bureau can be a great benchmark on whether a company can be trusted or not. So, this is quite a huge negative for me.

What I Like About Gramercy Gold

Offers the Lowest Price

Gramercy Gold has a reputation for offering the most competitive prices in the industry. They save by sourcing gold in bulk quantities from the largest and most efficient commercial suppliers.

Easy to Use Website

The website is as direct as it can be, though simple as possible, it is very comprehensive and one can easily read the necessary information.

What I Don't Like About Gramercy Gold

No Reviews

Apparently, there are NO REVIEWS of Gramercy Gold from past customers. So, this indicates that it may not be a legitimate company.

This is one of the red flags that one should look into. Just like how we look into product reviews before ordering online, the same goes for companies that we should be investing in.

Not Accredited by Trusted Websites and Known Precious Metals Organizations

Similarly, the company is not accredited by different review websites like BBB, Trustpilot, etc.

So, you should also carefully look into this company before letting go of your money.

Does Not Function as an E-commerce Website

Gramercy Gold does not use an e-commerce website. They are rather traditional since you have to call them and put the order through phone calls.

Is Gramercy Gold a SCAM?

Well, let's give the company the benefit of a doubt, maybe they are NOT A SCAMHowever, they did not particularly indicate who owns the company and other important details. There are also no reviews and accreditation available.
So, it is up to you if you want to invest in them.

BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Below, you can find some related articles I recommend you to read as an alternative to Gramercy Gold.

However, my most recommended out of those is Goldco. So, you better check them out!

Final Thoughts

Investment, especially for our retirement is one of the major decisions that we could make!

So, we must research, ask for advice, and continuously learn before giving out our money.

Thus, we must choose the best when it comes to this!

I WOULD THEN DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOLDCO.

Goldco has helped set up thousands of precious metals IRAs for people seeking a way to diversify and protect their retirement savings!
